An old friend asked me to assist with a simple skydiving technique, and although I'm the first to help out a good friend, the sporadic rattles on this tiny plane are slightly concerning. Nonetheless, I gather my red curls with one hand and tie a band around them with the other. Trembles are beginning to reverberate throughout my body as I pick up the light blue helmet and adjust the strap. But...like I always say, the best way to conquer fear is to face it head-on.
